Self-Heating for Cold-Weather Charging

Built-in self-heating supports charging in cold-weather conditions. When cell temperature is below the permitted charging range, the heating system raises battery temperature before normal charging begins.

The self-heating function is designed to prepare the battery for charging in low-temperature environments. Heating and normal charging are separate stages: the cells are warmed first, and charging proceeds after the required temperature condition is reached.

Group 27 Size for Marine Electronics Installations

The battery uses a BCI Group 27-size enclosure measuring approximately 12.13 × 6.69 × 8.31 inches and weighs approximately 26.48 lb.

Before installation, measure the available battery compartment and allow sufficient clearance for terminals, cable routing, battery restraint and service access.

Charging the 16V LiFePO4 Battery

Use charging equipment configured for a compatible 16V LiFePO4 CC/CV charging profile. The reference charging voltage is 18V ± 0.25V, with a recommended charging current of approximately 20A.

Are LiFePO4 batteries compatible with existing chargers and inverters?
